1. Data We Process

SSL Checker Tool provides free, browser-based SSL/TLS diagnostic tools. Depending on which tool you use, the following data may be sent to our server to perform the requested operation:

• Domain names — for SSL Checker, Bulk SSL Checker, TLS Scanner, DNS Lookup, Certificate Search, Redirect Checker, Vulnerability Checker, and Mail SSL Checker, we look up publicly available certificate and DNS information for the domain you enter. This is the same information any visitor's browser or any public CT log already sees.
• Pasted certificates, CSRs, and private keys — for Certificate Decoder, CSR Decoder, CSR Generator, Key Matcher, and SSL Converter, the content you paste or upload is sent to our server to decode, generate, match, or convert it, and the result is returned directly to you in the same request.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message when you use the Contact page.

2. What We Don't Store

Certificate, CSR, and private key data you submit to our tools is processed in server memory for the duration of your request only. We do not write this data to a database, do not write it to a log file, and do not retain it once the response is sent back to your browser. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose other than fulfilling your request.

Because tools like CSR Generator create a private key on your behalf, we recommend treating any key material as sensitive once it's returned to you, the same as you would with a key generated locally with OpenSSL.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how the site is used. This does not access or process the content of any certificate, CSR, or key you submit to a tool. You can block this with a browser extension or privacy setting if you prefer; the tools themselves work the same either way.

4. Contact Form

Submitting the contact form sends your name, email, and message to our support inbox via email so we can respond to you. It is not stored in a database on this site.

5. Third-Party Services

Some tools query third-party infrastructure to do their job — for example, DNS resolvers for DNS Lookup, and public Certificate Transparency logs for Certificate Search. These lookups only involve the domain name you provide, never any certificate, CSR, or key content you paste into a tool.

6. Terms of Use

SSL Checker Tool is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for verifying the results of any tool before relying on them for a production system. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or its tools. Do not use these tools to test domains or systems you do not own or have permission to test.
